BrandWorksApp LLC respects your right to control your personal data. This process complies with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and the Apple App Store and Google Play Store requirements.
Option 1 — Email (recommended). Email info@brandworksapp.us, subject: “Account deletion”. Include: (1) account email; (2) app(s) — MoneyWorks, Vela or all; (3) full name used at registration; (4) confirmation that you understand it is irreversible.
Option 2 — In the app. Open the app → Profile/Settings → “Delete account” → confirm.
Option 3 — By phone. Call +1 (727) 370-2545 or +1 (727) 396-4464 (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm EST).
To prevent unauthorized requests we may verify your identity: email confirmation; security questions; a confirmation code; in exceptional cases, a copy of an ID.
MoneyWorks: profile, credentials, all income and expense records, assets and debts, goals, calendar, transaction history, settings.
Vela: profile, personal-number calculations, advice history, the day-rated calendar, events, family/friend profiles, settings.
Financial/subscription records — up to 7 years (US tax law); data needed to comply with law and protect rights; anonymized statistics; encrypted backups — up to 30 days.
Requests are processed within 7 business days. You'll get an email confirmation at each step: receipt (24 hours), start of deletion, completion. In exceptional cases — up to 30 calendar days.
IMPORTANT: Deleting your account does NOT cancel a subscription automatically. If you have an active subscription, cancel it through Apple or Google BEFORE requesting deletion. iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Deletion is irreversible — data cannot be restored. Access to all features ends. Any remaining paid period is forfeited. To use the Services again you'll need a new account. Family/friend profiles in Vela are also deleted.
GDPR — Article 17 (right to erasure). CCPA/CPRA — § 1798.105 (right to delete). Apple App Store — Section 5.1.1(v). Google Play — User Data policy. Russia — 152-FZ (deletion and withdrawal of consent). If your rights are not honored, you may contact a supervisory authority.
This is not only about the apps. If you submitted a form, corresponded with us, or were a studio client (website, brand, app), you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Email info@brandworksapp.us or support@brandworksapp.us with the subject “Data deletion”. We delete contact and project data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (e.g., payment/accounting records — up to 7 years).
